The Rencontres de la Photographie of Arles, France, is a summer photography festival launched in 1970 which has learned a world-wide reputation as a springboard for photographic and contemporary creative talents. The exhibitions are given on various heritage sites in the city, suitably stage-designed for the purpose. This fictitious brief consisted in a new identity for the festival.
In a way to showcase their ability to renew themselves and always be on the front of the creative stage, this proposal for a new identity has been based on a graphic, bold and modular system of geometric shapes intended to "frame" and highlight the work of featured photographers.
